Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more adept, passing our cleaning tests and tackling a variety of floor types. Choose models that allow you to select between a variety of modes, self-empty and clean stairs.
Many of the best models work with your smartphone. Look for an app that allows you to save maps, set schedules and select cleaning options.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available on the market. It uses lidar to navigate, and create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set schedules and alter the behavior of the S1.
The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which comprises linoleum in the dining area, kitchen, and bathrooms, as well as carpet in the middle and a large area. It was able to drive right up to walls without colliding with them, and even managed to traverse thresholds that were raised in the room without issue, though it occasionally struggled to get down stairs in a single step. The S1 performed well in cleaning hard floors. Its mop drove smoothly on its flat side and swung up when it came to carpets or rugs.
Prior to each mopping session the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills the water tank onboard with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock provides an extra-deep cleaning solution to the water. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 cleaning sessions, but this will differ dependent on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure it is operating efficiently. You'll need to wash out the dirty tank to keep it from becoming blocked. It is also necessary to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to prevent them from getting blocked by dirt or dust. However, overall, the S1 is simple to maintain, particularly compared to other combinations which require more effort to maintain.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop is a powerful solution to your cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum has 8,700Pa suction power and comes with a variety of unique features, including voice control and smart path scheduling that cleans furniture and avoids obstacles. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive, with mops that rotate that actually lift and scrub the floor rather than simply moving the pad across it. The mops are cleaned and dried in the base station as required.

This robot combo has an easy-to-use interface that guides you throughout the process. It comes with a rechargeable hand vacuum for those hard-to-reach areas that the robot can't reach and two water tanks that are automatically empty and replenished as required. It also has a range of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, with strong suction that effortlessly picks up most of the debris, and even smaller bits of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are good, too, even though it is sometimes hung up on the small area mats or rugs that I have in my house (which is something you can mitigate by creating a virtual boundary within the application). Its mopping is quite impressive, and comes with two spinning mops that actually lift and scrub floors instead of simply dragging the pad over it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the basestation when required. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station when required.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year however their latest flagship robot mop and vacuum comes with more impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a contender for our list of the top robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush will give you an efficient, customized clean.
robot vacuum cleaners reviews does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up large and small particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests with ease while avoiding pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping capabilities are augmented by a side brush that automatically extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that deploys alongside baseboards.
Its navigation is smart that can navigate narrow spaces and negotiating stairways without skipping a step. It can move from one area to another without reversing direction it is a useful feature for larger homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is not as advanced than some competitors However, it tends to leave a thick margin around obstacles, which can result in missed spots.
Its app has a streamlined, intuitive interface that should be user-friendly for both new and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings, alter suction power and mopping settings as well as view 3D and 2D maps, and much more. It is accessible through the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri and allows you to monitor its progress from any location. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You'll need a stable WiFi connection to run the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
A robot vacuum does an excellent job of removing debris and dirt but it's not always able to be able to reach every piece of dust. This is why it's important to use your regular vacuum once every week, and especially to pick up dust in corners, on shelves and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums as well as mops, is designed to accomplish this. It's simple to connect to your home Wi-Fi network, and works with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more practical addition to your daily cleaning routine.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, such as the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It uses a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on price by eliminating mopping and using a less expensive plastic body.
The Q5 remains one of the most powerful mopping and vacuums we've ever seen in this price range even though it's not able to clean your floors. It has powerful 5500Pa suction and an automatic emptying system, so you don't have to manually empty the bin every time. It also has a clever app that lets you set your floor type and schedule cleanings, and an automatic refill of the water tank and wash system for hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive with its 2700Pa power to tackle dirt and pet hair on carpets and hard flooring. The Q5 was one of the few robots we tested to not have problems with high-pile carpets and rugs. However, it could not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't a surprise because it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.

This device also stores dust in a larger bin which means you need empty it less frequently. It also has washable filters, which further reduces costs. The robot is also able to detect carpets and boost the suction if required. You can also mark off areas you would like to be able to keep from using the app.
